Budget airline Flybe has announced that it is set to offer new flights to destinations from Norwich airport to Germany and France next year. As part of the expansion it will link Norwich to one of Europe's financial capitals.
The low-cost airline - which earlier this week announced cheap flights from Norwich to Amsterdam - is planning to add new destinations, including Frankfurt, to its routes from Norwich International airport.
Mike Rutter, chief commercial officer for Flybe, said: 'We will be offering new flights to France and Germany next year. For France, people can expect destinations such as Limoges and Bergerac; while for Germany we are looking at Frankfurt.'
'We will announce those destinations in November, with a view to start the flights in the following spring.'
