A full emergency was called yesterday after a plane flying from France reported a a hydraulic system warning light had come on prior to langing. A range of emergency services attended the scene and, as part of the procedure, the A140 Cromer Road that crosses the airport's flight path was closed for about an hour.
The flight from Morlaix in France, with two crew on board, was being made for aircraft engineering works and routine maintenance. The Fokker 100 belongs to Brit Air, the regional airline of Brittany. It circled several times before landing safely.
