Alicante flights to be announced this week

Norwich Airport is set to announce a new route to Spain, the Norwich Evening News reports. Airport director Richard Jenner has told the newspaper new direct services from Norwich to Alicante will begin in the near future, in a deal with an unnamed new airline.
Mr Jenner said that the airport had reached an agreement with the airline, but would not reveal its identity until an official announcement at the end of the week. The news comes after the airport's main airline, Flybe, axed further flights this month, having scrapped its Spanish services to Alicante and Malaga last July.
