Passengers using the new valet service drive up to the terminal building where they are met a driver. As they take their bags and head go to check-in, the driver takes the car to a secure compound about 2 miles from the airport, where it remains for the duration of their stay.
When the passengers fly back in to Norwich they telephone the company and a driver meets them at the terminal with their car, so that they can make a quick getaway. For an additional fee, customers can also have their car valeted while they are away.
The service is designed to do away with the hassle of finding a parking space at the airport and lugging baggage across the car park to the terminal. It is popular with business travellers, but it also ideal for passengers travelling with children or older relatives.
Prices for the new valet parking service range from £49 for 3 days to £75 for two weeks.
