New private jet business at Norwich Airport

Skydrift Air Charter, based at Norwich Airport, is offering Norfolk residents a taste of the high life with the launch of the county's first executive jet charter service. The British airline has launched a private jet hire business from Norwich using a £2m Cessna Citation V luxury executive plane.
The Cessna aircraft, which is favoured by executives including Sir Alan Sugar, can fly up to 7 passengers in comfort as far as North Africa before refuelling. The flights are not too expensive either. A spokesman for the airline said that a return flight to London City Airport would cost £3,900, while a flight to Nice in the south of France would cost £7,000.
Skydrift believes there is a growing market in Norfolk for luxury air travel. As well as business people, it is targeting customers who want to organise special trips, such as birthday celebrations or skiing or fishing parties.
The airline operates business and private flights, charter and cargo flights, as well as aircraft management.
