Flybe introduce bagage charges

Flybe introduced a charge on passengers travelling if they check luggage into the hold has came into force yesterday. Customers of the budget airline will have to pay £2 for each bag put in the hold if this is booked at the time the ticket is booked, or £4 per bag if not.
Critics of the new charge claim they will lead to longer queues in airport terminals and safety could be compromised. The airline says says tickets will be £1 less, the hand baggage allowance will be doubled and it will offer a fairer deal for its customers.
